She is your friend, your partner, your defender, and your dog. You are her life, her love, and her leader. She will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of her heart. You owe it to her to be worthy of such devotion.
Dogs are linked to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring, it was peace.

A whole freakin' month has gone by, and this is the first time Mom lets me have some computer time?

So much for letting me update more.  Jeez, all she does is smack on the keyboard, all day long, and sometimes all night long, too.

So, we've been going to the Work every day but the days we don't go, those are the days we go to what Mom calls Wally World, I call it Treat World, 'cos she always gets me a new bag of treats when we go there.  I love my carrier bag!

We've been going to the Boy's games, too.  Blah.  It's been so hot!  I'd rather stay home, but I want to go show my support for the boy, too.  This year, Mom brings my bag to the game, too, so if the toddlers running around get me too nervous, I can go in there.  That'll show them.

I've got a new friend...Chico is his name.  He lives with MomGoneMadd.  We're just now getting to know each other.

I gotta go write him now.

Y'all be good.

I know it's been a long time, but a lot has happened.

Mom got sick, and couldn't get on the computer.  That meant I couldn't either, for some reason.

All we did was lay in her bed.  All day, all night.  At times she and dad would leave me here, they'd go some place called a hospital.  When they came back, Mom would go back to bed and still feel bad.  We didn't go to work anymore.

One day, she started acting really weird.  She couldn't do anything, and she was talking really funny.

Dad came home from golf, and got scared.  He took her to the hospital again.

Bad night.  They didn't come home.  Well, Dad did, but he left right away.  The next day, Auntie Jo came and stayed with us.

I was scared.  Why didn't Mom come home?  What was I going to do?  I spent my time with the Old Guy.  Auntie Jo tried to take care of me, but she didn't know how to do it right.

Finally...Mom came home.  She had a spot on her head that smelled funny, but she was smiling and she was as happy to see me as I was to see her.

She went to bed and stayed there for a couple of days.  Dad took such good care of her.

Finally she was able to get out of bed...and as of yesterday she has been able to walk me all the way around the block.

She told me all her Xanga friends have been so cool.  She really loves them, that means I do, too.

We go back to work tomorrow.  I'm not looking forward to that all that much, but I'm happy she's well enough to do that.

She says I'll be able to update more often.  That's a good thing.

Woof!

What a weekend!  The Boy had ball practice, and for the very first time ever going to that park, she took that strap off and let me run!  She came with me, of course, but for the most part, I was on my own!  It was a beautiful day, and there were so many smells, I didn't know which way to go first!

She's also been doing something very cool to my food.  She calls it gravy.  I like it because it makes my food a little softer and a whole bunch more better!  Y'all tell your humans, it's made by the same folks that make my food, Iams.

We gotta take Carolyn home here in a minute.  That's a good thing.

Wow, what a big day I had yesterday.  First of all I had to go to the groomer, again, 'cos I've still been itchy.  I'm better now.  But the best thing is Mom was all twittery about it being our Year Anniversary.  It feels like I've been with her my whole life, but I liked her being all lovey to me all day.

Today, we went shopping.  No one even saw me, I was so good and quiet in my bag.  Mom got me a great big bag of food, plus my treats, so I scored like a big dog!  Dad and the Boy went with us.  We all had fun, even if Mom did forget her list.

Once she got everything put away, we went for a walk.  All the way around the block!  We haven't done that since it got so freakin' cold outside.  I have to tell you, it was just glorious!  We took our time, I sniffed and sniffed and sniffed some more.  The air, the grass, the curb, whatever, I sniffed it.

Hope you all are having a great outside weekend, too!

FINALLY I get a turn on the computer.

We had a big weekend, if you've been reading my mom's page, you know what I'm talking about, but here's my view of what happened.

One day last week we got up like normal, but Mom was putting stuff in a square box, her clothes and stuff.  Then we got in the car, and went to Aunt Mary's.  That was weird, but I love Mary, so it was ok.

Then we took off and we drove a long, long time.  All day.  I got to sniff a couple different places when we'd stop.  I got hot a little bit, so mom fixed my carrier up in between the seats, so I was more comfortable.

I don't know exactly where we went, but there was a lot of people that Mom and Aunt Mary knew, and there was a bunch of hugging and loud talking...I stayed close to Mom, no matter what was going on.

One night, we went to visit some people and they had a big dog.  Her name was Sally, and she was really wild.  I stole her steak bone when she had to go back outside.  Ha!

Then one day, we got in the car and drove all day again, and we were home.  Phew, I was so glad to see Dad and everybody!  I was even glad to see PorkChop, and I think he was glad to see me, too!

What's been going on in your world?
